Free online gradient filament color simulator: import a .gcode or .gcode.3mf sliced in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer and see how gradient (multi-segment) filament will color your print — color-change layers, color by object and where the spool ends. Runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Slice your model in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer, export the .gcode or .gcode.3mf and drop it into Gradient Filament Preview. Pick a gradient filament and a start point for each AMS slot; the 3D preview colors every layer by filament usage and lists the layers where the color changes.
Sliced .gcode and .gcode.3mf files exported from Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer, for single-color and multi-material prints (multiple slots, prime tower, purge/flush). Large files of 50–200 MB are streamed and parsed in the background.
A .gcode file is the plain-text toolpath for one plate. A .gcode.3mf is a zip archive that can hold G-code for several plates; if it has more than one, you will be asked which plate to load.
No. Parsing and simulation run locally in your browser and files are never uploaded. Your filament library and settings are stored only in your browser’s localStorage.
Filament usage usually matches the slicer’s estimate within 1%, including the purge line, flush and prime tower. Gradient segment lengths are nominal, though, so error builds up with use — treat color-change positions on long prints as an estimate.
Yes. The results show which segment each slot ends in and how much of it is left. Click “Save as next start point” to use that position as the start point next time.
